Ride with Bill?

Bill Clinton that is.
I promise that this blog will remain non-political but this is very appropriate.

BILL DOES A SPIN FOR HILLARY

March 20, 2007 -- BILL Clinton will be hanging with a bunch of sweaty spinners Thursday night in what's shaping up to be one of the wackier fund-raisers for his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton. The former president will meet and greet guests at SoulCycle on West 72nd Street, which calls itself "New York's premier indoor cycling studio" and teaches that "the soul is the spiritual core and emotional center of our being [and] you can connect to this core through an intense cardio-workout set to inspiring music." Organizers say Clinton will speak on critical health-care issues "and continue Hillary's conversation with America regarding the importance of affordable quality health care." But then the real fun begins. According to a press release, guests will don workout duds and be led in "an exhilarating 45-minute 'Freedom Ride' to some of Clinton's favorite tunes - do we hear the Stones?" The cycling will be followed by cocktails and appetizers.
It's not known whether Clinton plans to pedal along with participants, who are shelling out $2,300 a head to attend. Clinton's office didn't get back to us. (The coctail part sounds good but if I was spending $2,300 bucks I would want to see Bill sweat with the rest of us:)

3/23 He didn't. Mr. Clinton — who wore a suit and did not spin himself. Figures
